Make the subject readable
One person, couple, pet or small group usually translates more clearly than many tiny faces in a distant scene.
Keep natural contrast
Well-lit faces and separation from the background help. Avoid heavy filters, extreme sharpening and clipped highlights.
Expect a textile translation
Fine detail softens as it becomes cloth.
Yarn uses a finite palette and visible grain. Small text, busy scenery and subtle facial detail may simplify. We review the source image and flag risk areas before production.
